Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is one of the most famous professional wrestlers of all time. In addition to his wrestling career, he also starred in movies and television shows.

His rookie and early cards are very sought after and valuable. Let's take a look at some of these vintage Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson trading cards.

1994 Bumble Bee Hurricanes

This card is the most valuable Dwayne Johnson card but is from an obscure college set.  It is considered a Johnson pre-rookie.

The Bumble Bee Dwayne Johnson card is from a set of 24 Miami Hurricane players.  Johnson played 4 years for the Hurricanes, but only started one game.

1997 Cardinal Trivia Rocky Maivia

This is one of the first wrestling cards of Dwayne Johnson.   It is considered an oddball rookie.

The 1997 Cardinal Trivia Rocky Maivia card is from a WWF trivia board game.  There was also a 1998 version that included a card of Johnson after becoming "The Rock"

1997 WWF Magazine Cards

These two cards have in-action photos of Dwayne Johnson.  They are considered oddball rookie cards.

1997 issues of WWF Magazine included cards that could be torn out of the magazine.  Two of the in-action cards included Dwayne Johnson. One with Owen Hart and one with Bradshaw.

1998 WWF Superstarz

This is the first major-release card made of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.  It is considered a rookie card. 

The 1998 Comic Images WWF Superstarz card is from a set that contains this and two other cards of Johnson.  One is an in-action card and the other features the Nation of Domination faction.
