Dan Marino is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Marino ended his career as the all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

His rookie and early cards are very sought after and some are valuable while others are not. Let's take a look at some of these vintage Dan Marino cards:

1984 Topps

This Dan Marino card is the most valuable and recognized rookie card. It is considered a rookie card.

The 1984 Topps Football Dan Marino rookie card is one of the most valuable football cards from the 1980s. This set also has John Elway and Eric Dickerson rookies. 

1979-83 Coral-Lee Postcard

The 1979-83 Coral-Lee Postcard is the earliest card of Dan Marino.  It is considered an oddball rookie.

This set of postcards was made from 1979 to 1983. This rare postcard was made in 1983. A second card from this set features Marino talking to coach Don Shula.

1984 Topps Instant Replay

Card #124

This is the second Dan Marino solo card in the 1984 Topps Football set. It is considered a subset rookie.

Some stars in this 1984 Topps football set have an "Instant Replay" in-action card.  This gives Marino a 2nd Topps solo rookie. He is also on a team leader card in this set.

1984 Dolphins Police

This is a rare regional release that was distributed in the Miami area. It is considered an oddball rookie.

The 1984 Dolphins Police set was printed to be handed out by police in the Miami area.  The back of the card has a safety tip targeted towards kids.
