Learn All About the Scottie Pippen Rookie Cards

Scottie Pippen is one of the most well-rounded basketball players of all time. In addition to being a key member of the Bulls dynasty, he also played for two gold medal Olympic teams.

His rookie and early cards are very sought after and valuable. Let's take a look at some of these vintage Scottie Pippen trading cards.

1988-98 FLEER

Card #20

This card is the most widely-recognized Scottie Pippen rookie card. It is universally considered a Scottie Pippen rookie.

The 1988-89 Fleer Scottie Pippen card is his first major-release card.  It is very valuable in high-grade conditions.

1987 Entenmann's

This was only released regionally in the Chicago area.  It is considered an oddball rookie.

Entenmann's made Chicago Bulls sets for the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons.  This is considered a rookie, but the 1989-90 Pippen is rarer and just as valuable.

1988 Kenner Starting Lineup

This Scottie Pippen rookie card came packaged with a figurine. It is considered an oddball rookie.

When the 1988 Pippen Starting Lineup was made the card was an afterthought.  Over the years collectors have realized this rookie card is rare and difficult to find in good condition.

1988-89 Panini Sticker

Card #77

This sticker was part of a Panini set made in Italy.  It is considered an oddball rookie.

This sticker set was produced and distributed in Italy. It was not intended for American collectors.  Many of the stickers were used, so these are rare and valubale.
